Except the cost that seemed a bit high, I was happy with the rest of the process. One cannot tell the difference between the replacement key and the other original ones by looking at my keyboard now.
I ordered they key and replaced it on my keyboard. My ' L' key broke off a while ago. Good, sometimes the r button does glitch out, but otherwise good, although kind of expensive, 11 dollars per key is quite a lot Key works well however, and am satisfied with the product, just wish they could have shipped faster. I ordered this key maybe around end of January, but I received it end of February despite expedited shipping. Replacement of damaged key arrived on time, looks and works like original key, I' m glad it' s possible to replace only one key instead of the entire keyboard. It took quite a while to arrive but that is because of Covid shipping delays. The Surface Pro 4 will garner oohs and ahhs from Microsoft fans due to its high end specs and the growing fan base, but it has even more potential if the keyboard had the option to also be detached.
